Cristina Bernardo Kullberg

The tenth child of Cuban American immigrants, Cristina Bernardo Kullberg is passionate about the power of education, social entrepreneurship, and women to change systems and communities. She currently serves as the Co-Founder and President of Open Dreams, which she started with LSE alumni Blaise Buma. Since 2015, Open Dreams has helped over 200 high achieving, low income students from Cameroon find and secure scholarships to leading universities all over the world, including Oxford, McGill, Harvard, and more. They also offer Women’s LeadHERShip Coaching, assisting women leaders and entrepreneurs to find their inner strength to create the change they want to see in their communities. Previously, Cristina served as the Executive Director of Emzingo|U and in the Obama Administration at the USDA.  She received her MS in the Political Economy of Late Development from the London School of Economics and a BA in International Politics and Business at UNC Chapel Hill.
